the structure of this novel has me wondering how they dealt with the material when they made the film version. maybe I'll have to see it. hm. as far as what the book offers, it's a "novel within a novel" approach, and as a reader fully hooked, I congratulate the author on making me feel so much for Tony and his family, even though I know they are a fiction within a fiction. then there's Susan--what's her deal? and why has Edward shoved his creepy book into her life? I'm really enjoying the layers...great read so far.
