The Long Firm - Jake Arnott

suddenly Harry and friends--including Lord Teddy, blackmailed politician--have taken a trip to Africa, to check on Harry's investment in a budding Nigerian township (reports vague, suspected skullduggery amidst the "delays", no actual profit yet). hard to say where this plotline is going, but this Crime novel is such a different experience for me--London (mainly), 1965 (where I'm at now, in the flow of things), and a Gay crime boss. apparently there is some old TV version of this that was successful, with Mark Strong, Derek Jacobi. curious.
