this marks the end of this series; they packed it all into five volumes. I really recommend it; it's a lot of fun, and it'll make you stop and ponder our own world a bit, although I think (so far) that it could have done that even a little bit more. of the big-deal Vertigo series that have hugely impressive reps several years after they wrapped up, I think DMZ has got this one beat on the must-read scale. but Y: The Last Man, a much shorter ride, has been a blast. and who knows--I haven't absorbed the ending, yet. I have a feeling it's going to be...serious. maybe the most serious part of the whole shebang.
