which makes it look gorgeous, does it not? it's fair to say that the first book in this series lured me right in with its amazing front-cover art:
but thank goodness the book itself became a Fantasy favorite of mine! how refreshing--cover and book itself both nearly perfect. and this in light of an earlier Beaulieu book not doing much for me, several years ago; I did not continue with the series that one launched. glad I got pulled into a second tryout with this author by a great cover.
