The Afrikaner - Arianna Dagnino

so many great reads lately, and it looks like this will be no exception. I continue to be fascinated by South Africa when I read about it...although now the setting has shifted to Namibia, the Kalahari. Zoe has decided to head out to what was Dario’s dig site, which makes this a different sort of Mystery novel, since he wasn’t killed out there, but back in Johannesburg. from a trickiness perspective - even though the novel has settled on Zoe’s dedication to a paleontological dig, partly out of tribute to her murdered lover’s last efforts, and even though this doesn’t count as Zoe “digging” into the reasons for her soul-mate’s death...maybe the answers are out in the desert anyway?
