the train makes a short stop at the desert town called Needles. even the little towns on this dread journey have creepy names. of course they do. on board, Kitten figures the best plan for staying alive is simply to keep as far away from Viv as possible. since they’re on the same locomotive, she may need a better plan...and a determination not to doze off...
